Orientation
On your first day, your Trainer/Adviser will go through a safety and security walk through, review the Hospitality Model, teach LEAN, give a tour of the store, and set up Passport for new team member

Complete New Hire Orientation ASAP

Dining Room & Front Counter

Minimum 2 Shifts before testing out

 

First Shift

Paired entire shift with designated TRAINER, first 30 mins of shift are used to watch pathway, longer if needed.

Second Shift

45-60 with designated TRAINER, then alone for the rest of the shift, if ready.

TRAINER is still to remain with Team Member for observation/Coaching.

Headset/Face to Face & Outside Cash/Payment Station

Minimum 2 Shifts before testing out

 

First Shift:

Paired entire shift with designated TRAINER, first 30 mins of shift are used to watch pathway, longer if needed. 

​

Second Shift:

Minimum of 50% of shift with designated TRAINER, then alone for the rest of the shift, if perceived to be ready for observation

TRAINER is still to remain with Team Member for observation/Coaching.

Running

Minimum 1 Shift before testing out

First Shift:

Paired for the entire shift, the first 30 mins of shift are used to watch pathway.

Drinks, Desserts & Window/Pushing

Minimum 1 Shift before testing out

First Shift:

Paired for the entire shift, the first 30 mins of shift are used to watch pathway.

 Bagging

​

Minimum 2 Shifts before testing out

 

First Shift:

Paired entire shift with designated TRAINER, first 30 mins of shift are used to watch pathway, longer if needed.

Second Shift:

45-60 with designated TRAINER, then alone for the rest of the shift, if ready.

TRAINER is still to remain with Team Member for observation/Coaching.

What's next??? What do you do after your Training leading up to your 45 Day Evaluation? 

You have now completed your training as part of the Chick-fil-A Murphy/Wylie Team. What is next? During this time PLEASE communicate with your Training Director or the Shift Leader on duty regarding positions that you need more experience in. You are encouraged to drive your own progress from here, but with our help of course. Great job making it through training and we are so excited to see the positive impact you will have on the team here at Chick-fil-A.

*Must Pass "Knowledge Test" at 45 Day Evaluation

*HINT* This is basically the test. Study it and you will pass.
